Treatment of wrinkles and fine lines with filler:
Faced with the ever-increasing demand for gentle Aesthetic Medicine techniques (non-surgical) aimed at combating the effects of aging, the number and quality of injectable materials has evolved considerably in recent years and their use has become extremely frequent. These are fluid products that can be injected, either to reshape certain parts of the face, or to obtain the filling of wrinkles, furrows or other depressions of the face.
Objectives of wrinkle treatment:
A session of injections can be carried out in isolation, but can also prelude or complement more radical medical-surgical rejuvenation techniques such as resurfacing (peeling, laser, dermabrasion), blepharoplasties (upper and/or lower eyelids), facelifts, etc. It can also be done in parallel with Botulinum Toxin injections aimed at reducing the tone of certain muscles responsible for the appearance of wrinkles. An injection of fillers aims to correct, by a simple and rapid means, certain signs of aging or disfigurements present at the level of the face, by filling or giving volume where it is necessary.

The most frequently performed corrections can be divided into four categories:
- Furrows: nasolabial folds (from the wing of the nose to the corner of the mouth), bitterness folds (from the corner of the mouth, on either side of the chin), labi-mental furrow....
- Wrinkles and fine lines: forehead, "lion's wrinkles" (between the eyebrows), "crow's feet" (at the corner of the eyes), cheeks, chin, "sun pleats" around the mouth.
- Lips: redraw the hem (contour), thicken them if they are too thin, or make them fuller Depressions (hollows) or lack of volume: cheekbones, chin, mandibular contour, cheeks, nose, scarring (acne, chickenpox, trauma, etc.).

Usually, these disfigurements will not completely disappear but will be considerably reduced by injections. Some alterations respond much better to treatment than others that are more difficult to manage.
Similarly, the durability of the correction is extremely variable depending on the products and the patients, but in most cases the correction is only temporary and the treatment will have to be repeated to maintain the result. It should be noted that many other alterations may be present, but their treatment is only possible using more complex medical-surgical techniques than simple injections.
